The list below features two-dimensional (2D) position sensitive multianode photomultiplier tubes from Hamamatsu, Photonis, and Burle. They are often used with scintillation crystals in applications requiring spatial detection of nuclear particles such as gamma ray imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), SPECT, high energy particle physics, and radiation monitors.
