Single Anode Photomultiplier Tubes
Single anode PMTs are available in a variety of sizes, speeds, and spectral response ranges. Additionally some units are supplied in a module form that includes a high voltage power supply to bias the PMT and in some cases, a low-noise preamplier. Applications utilizing a single unit consist of particle detection and low light level sensing. Multiple units are used together in applications like multispectral flow cytometry, bioaerosol fluorescence detection, and confocal microscopy.
